Velocity Hockey Academy is a Tier 1 program based out of Montreal, Quebec. We compete in showcases, tournaments, regular season games and playoffs across North America, with a specific focus of showcasing our players to colleges, junior leagues and prep schools.

**Our final Player Evaluation Day for the 2026-2027 season will be held June 7, 2026 at Sportplexe Pierrefonds.

  • Fundamentally Strong Practice Habits

    Fundamentally Strong Practice Habits

    We recruit players who will elevate the level of those around them through an intense, detail-oriented approach to practice. The best way to improve is through deliberate high-effort training, and our athletes are expected to bring a relentless drive to every session. A player that does not take attendance seriously and does not commit to excelling in practice will not be a fit in our program.

    Selfless Teamwork & Work Ethic

    Strong work ethic and maximum effort are non-negotiable skills required of every player that is a part of Velocity hockey. It is an expectation, not a request.

    We emphasize that no individual is greater than the team. Teamwork and elevating each other will be at the forefront of what we teach and preach.

    Growing from mistakes

    Our coaching philosophy is built on teaching – not punishing. Our players are still understanding how to play the game the right way. Mistakes are expected and encouraged. Players will not be benched for making errors; instead, they will be coached, encouraged, and given the chance to apply what they are learning. We want our players to play without fear of repercussions and to strive to improve.

This season, we are very excited to offer a unique, optional package to all players. For those that want to bring their game to the next level, we are ready to supply them with every opportunity. The Velocity Plus package gives players access to additional private strength and conditioning, mental performance coaching and sports nutrition consultation.
